    An Empire Gilt Bronze Mantel Clock. The enamelled dial signed Gerdier Hger. de Paris and set into an architectural apexed well above a fountain with a lion mask issuing a spout of dark patinated water flanked by reeds and dolphins either side. The rectangular bevel form base mounted with the figure of a young man draped in animal pelts playing a lyre. The front ornamented with a hunting horn and spears entwined with oak leaves and acorns and raised on machine engraved squat bun feet, 14 ins (36 cms) in height.

    A Charming Gilt Bronze Mantel Clock of small proportions. The enamelled clock dial set into the wheel of a chariot conveying a Bacchanalian putto with a ewer of wine and a goblet raised in one hand; the chariot pulled by a panther and raised on an oval plinth base ornamented with thyrsus entwined with vines and tied with a flowing ribbon, 7 ins (18 cms) high, 7 ins (18 cms) in length.

    A Splendid 20th Century Congreve Rolling Ball Clock made for J. Hirst Esquire of Littleborough in 1972 by the eminent maker Thwaites & Reed London and numbered 83 of a limited edition of 100. The hours, minutes and seconds dials set into an apexed architectural pediment crested with anthemion motifs and raised on four Corinthian columns above the rolling-ball mechanism. The stepped plinth on a mahogany base. To be sold with the original book; 'William Congreve and His Clock' by Turner & Devereaux, signed with provenance.

    A Napoleon II Gilt Bronze Clock Set in the Louis XV Style. The 5½ ins (14 cms) diameter enamelled clock dial signed Raingo Frères Paris and set into a twin handled urn shaped case surmounted by a crest of foliage and swagged in laurel garlands, The wrythen fluted pedestal leading down to a rectangular plinth base with pierced trellis sides and cherubic figures sat either side, 28 ins (72 cms) in height. The candelabra each having seven foliated S-scroll branches surrounding a raised central candle holder with flaming final cap. The arms emanating from an ovoid urn with ring handles and wrythen fluted pedestal foot above a square plinth swagged in laurel garlands with guilloché bands and ornamental paterae heading the round feet, 32 ins (81 cms) in height.
