    A 16th Century French Gothic Wrought Iron Pricket Stand. The triangular top section having nine spikes with fleur-de-lys shaped corners. Supported by two c-scroll brackets and raised on a stem terminating with a palmate triform base 54 ins (137 cms) in height, 34 ins (87 cms) in width. [Reputedly hired from Mary Bellis's Antiques to be used in a 1960's horror film and with receipt of purchase from Mary Bellis dated 1965].
