    An 18th Century Eight Day Japanned Longcase Clock. The 11¾ inch (30 cm) square brass dial with silvered chapter ring signed Anthony Harrison London, encircling a matted centre engraved with birds and flowers around the calendar aperture, with a subsidiary seconds ring and decorative face mask spandrels to the corners. The chinoiserie case decorated in raised lacquers and gilding with figures, pagodas, flowers, birds and butterflies on a dark Prussian blue ground. 87 ins (221 cms) in height.

The central scrolled heraldic shield having tasselled cord pendants encircled by a pierced wreath of leaves with flower-head studs to the corners. Mounted in a deep moulded oak frame and hung diagonally, 31 ins x 31 ins (79 cms x 79 cms).
