A 19th Century Boarded Chestnut Chicken Coop. The shaped front panel naively carved with chicken heads and scrolling stems of foliage, dated 1815 and centred by a pivoting whorl-carved roundel door. The ventilated container having an apexed top with iron bars, standing on sledge feet, 23 ins (58 cms) in height, 14 ins (36 cms) wide, 12 ins (30 cms) deep.
