    A 16th Century French Walnut Caquetoire Circa 1560-80. The panel back carved with flower-head in stepped edge moulding.     A Fine Quality 17th Century German Oak Coffer. The twin panelled top having moulded edges on iron strap hinges. The front with a nulled frieze above bands of imbricated leaves and two intricate relief carved panels depicting allegorical scenes. The muntin and stiles enriched with overlapped scale carving and having scrolling spandrels to the corners, 25 ins (64 cms) high, 48 ins (122 cms) wide, 20 ins (51 cms) deep.

The two doors and centre panel richly carved with scrolls of foliage surrounding protuberant heads in roundels and having linen fold panels to the sides. The drawer fronts decorated with grotesques and S-scrolls. Standing on acanthus carved columns leading down to a base shelf and swept apron, 59½ ins (151 cms) high, 50½ ins (128 cms) wide, 20 ins (51 cms) deep.
