A Pair of Early 18th Century Joined Oak Stools. The padded rectangular seats covered in chenille fabric woven with an urn of flowers cascading around a central tulip with a coronet to the top flanked by birds perched on floral sprigs, baskets of fruit either side and a recumbent lion & stag to the base. The baluster turned legs united by peripheral stretchers and terminating on turned feet, 16” (41 cm) high, 16” (41 cm) wide, 14½” (37 cm) deep.
