Description
A 19th Century Yew-wood Hoop-back Windsor Armchair. The hoop enclosing six stick spindles with a further two splayed spindles leading down to a wedge shaped projection to the rear of the elm seat. The turned legs united by a crinoline stretcher. The nicely patinated yew arms resting on crook supports. 34½” (88 cm) high, 21” (54 cm) wide.
