The 4” (10 cm) enamelled chapter ring encircling a visible escapement with a ornamental bob pendulum in the form of a dragon, raised above a navette shaped green marble plinth, and held between a pair of winged griffin silhouettes. The top surmounted by a flaming urn above a basket cascading fruit suspended from a ribbon bow, 17½” (45 cm) high.
