Description
An Early 19th Century Tunbridge/Souvenir Ware Painted Whitewood Nutmeg Grater. The turned cylindrical casing having a slightly domed screw-thread lid with a hand-coloured printed view of Brighton Pavilion encircled by a chain of painted rose buds. The sides decorated with a painted garland of pink flowers bordered by striped bands, 2” (5 cm) high, 5” (5 cm) in diameter.
