Description
An Unusual 17th Century Provincial Joined Oak Armchair. The twin panel back surmounted by a shaped cresting rail, stamped and gouge carved with repeated symbols, SC initials and the letter ‘H’. The shaped silhouette cut plank arms pegged to chamfered posts leading down to a planked seat on run moulded rails and square chamfered legs united by peripheral rails. 39” (99 cm) high, 24½” (62 cm) wide, 18½” (47 cm) deep.
