A Pair of 17th or 18th Century Relief Carved Oak Panels depicting Judith stood before encampment de-capitating Holofernes with her maid holding out a foot-bag for his head, and the Assyrian army fleeing, with the head of Holofernes and the sieged city of Bethulia carved to the upper corner. Both scenes beneath arches of scrolling strapwork centred by winged angel heads, 19 ins x 11¾ ins (48 cms x 30 cms).
