A Pair of Fine Early 19th Century Porcelain Baskets. The boat shaped vessels having pierced lattice sides with delicately painted garlands of flowers trailing around the inside border and floral bouquets in oval panels to the centre. The cream glazed external sides having green glazed borders enriched with gilding and standing on flared oval pedestals pierced with fanned leaves and encompassed by a laurel wreath with a cream glazed rectangular base decorated with gilt anthemions, 8 ins (20 cms) in height, 11 ins x 7½ ins (28 cms x 19 cms). Blue under-glazed crossed swords to base (one A/F).
