A Fine Gothic Style Oak Throne Chair. The back formed from a 16th/17th century pew-end incorporating ball flowers within Gothic arches and surmounted by a prominent poppy head finial. The moulded block arms carved with foliage to the shoulders & knop ends and resting on square tracery posts leading down to form the front legs with a planked seat above a rail of tracery trefoils and moulded block peripheral stretchers.
